A local festival held at Amphoe Dan Sai in May or June for two day is a parade of Buddha image to Wat Phon Chai and the second day is a parade of Phi Ta Khon stuffs down to the Marn river. Travelling from Loei to Amphoe Dan Sai for 82 km.
