Day 1: Bangkok Arrival
Welcome to Thailand's capital, Bangkok. Known in Thai as Krung Thep Maha Nakhon pronounced or Krung Thep , Bangkok was a small trading post at the mouth of the Chao Phraya River during the Ayutthaya Kingdom. Being the gateway to South East Asia for most travelers, the streets are always buzzing and full of life.

Day 2: Bangkok City Tour
After breakfast at the hotel, your guide will pick you up and take you to a Harbor on Chao Phraya River to get on a boat to explore the traditional Thai klongs (canals). Then, visit Wat Arun which is known as Temple of Dawn – one of the best well-known sites in Bangkok. It is best seen from the opposite side of the river. After visiting this Wat, you will head to the Grand Palace, which is the official Palace of The King Of Siam since 1782, made up of numerous buildings, halls, pavilions set around open lawns, gardens and courtyards. It is located on the bank of Chao Phraya River. Inside the Grand Palace complex is Wat Phra Kaeo or Temple of the Emerald Buddha – the most beautiful and sacred Buddhist temple in Thailand. The following visit is Wat Pho – the temple of reclining Buddha. The temple has a long list of credits: The oldest and largest temple in Bangkok, the longest reclining Buddha and the largest collection of Buddha images in Thailand, the first public education institution.
Next, drive to Pak Klong Talaat Flower market to see Thailand’s exotic flora with many species of orchids. Finally, back to your hotel.

Day 3: Bangkok - Floating Market - Kanchanaburi - River Kwai
After breakfast at your hotel, head to Damnoen Saduak with a stop at the Mae Klong Railway Market. At Damnoen Saduak, board a motorboat for a trip through the canals to the floating market. From here you will experience the full colors and vibrancy of this unique market. After that, proceed to Kanchanaburi where you will visit the allied prisoners of war cemetery and the famous Bridge Over The River Kwai. Also visit the Thailand Burma Railway Center. Arrive your hotel in the afternoon.

Day 4: Ayutthaya - Bangkok - Fly to Chiang Mai
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before driving to Siam's old capital of Ayutthaya. You will see some of the remains of over 400 stone temples and Buddhist statues: the gigantic bronze statues of Wat Mongkol Borpith, Wat Phra Srisanpetch and Wat Yai Chai Mongkol.
Transfer back to Bangkok airport to catch the flight to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival at Chiang Mai, your guide and driver will transfer you to your hotel in town.

Day 5: Chiang Mai Experience
The day will start with The Mae Sa Elephant Camp to watch the elephants bathing and the elephant show. Here you can choose the option of riding the elephants either through the natural forested slopes in the Mae Sa Valley or to Baan Tong Luang the picturesque 4 hill tribe exhibition village set in a beautiful valley amongst the rice paddies.
After a leisurely lunch, proceed to the Sankampeang area to view the manufacture of famous Chiang Mai and Thai product such as silk, celadon and paper umbrella. Your final destination of the day is the impressive Doi Suthep temple which sits on the mountain overlooking Chiang Mai.

Day 6: Chiang Mai - Chiang Rai
This morning, you will head to Chiang Rai. Have short visits at Mae Khajan hot springs and the stunning Wat Rong Khun. You then make your way to Chiang Saen which was once an important northern Thai Kingdom and trading post situated on the banks of the mighty Mekong River. Visit Wat Chedi Luang. From Chiang Saen, take a long tail boat ride on the Mekong to get a closer to the Golden triangle. At the Golden triangle you can view Laos, Burma and Thailand from the same point across the Mekong. Follow by the visit to Thailand's most northerly point and walk around the busy Mae Sai border market. Check in to your hotel in Chiang Rai in late afternoon.

Day 7: Chiang Rai - Huay Xai - Boat Trip to Pakbeng
Early transfer to Chiang Khong border checkpoint. Proceed to cross the border on your own. At 8:30am, your guide will welcome you in front of the Lao immigration office. After the VISA registration, tuk tuk will take you to the slow boat pier. Embark on your boat. Your boat leaves Houay Xay pier at 9:00am. During the cruise, the boat will take its first stop in Pak Tha, to get the signed boat documents. Lunch is served on board. Stop a second time to visit a Kamu village along the Mekong River. The boat will arrive at Pakbeng before the night.

Day 8: Pakbeng - Boat trip to Luang Prabang
At 8:30am, the boat leaves Pakbeng. On the way, one lunch served on board and 2 stops: visit first Pak Ou Caves (Tham Ting) and its thousands of Buddha images, then visit Ban Xang Hai, a lao lao whiskey village.
Arrival in Luang Prabang (Ban Don Mai boat pier) around 4:30 pm. Transfer to your hotel in town.

Day 9: Luang Prabang City Tour
Today you will embark on a tour of this enthralling town to visit the former king’s palace, which is now a museum. The many items nicely displayed include rare furniture, traditional costumes and arts, jewelry, ornaments as well as working tools and utensils of the early part of the 20th century. After that, explore TAEC, The Traditional Arts and Ethnology Centre. Continue to visit Wat Xieng Thong, the Golden City monastery, which dates back to the 16th century and is considered to be the finest in Laos. Furthermore, we visit the fine temples of Wat Mai, Wat Sene. Later that day, we adjourn to the Phousi Holy Hill to enjoy the marvelous panoramic views of the town at sunset.

Day 10: Luang Prabang - Kuang Si Waterfall
For early risers, you have the option to observe long rows of monks in saffron robes collecting alms from the locals at dawn.
Today you will visit Kuang Si Waterfall. Stop at Phosi Market, where you will see such diverse local products. Laos is also known for its traditional crafts, and today you will visit local villages of Lao ethnic minority groups at Ban Ouay, Hmong Village, Ban Ou, Laoloum Village and Ban Thapene, Khmu Village. Arrive at the beautiful Kuang Si Waterfall where you can cool off with a refreshing swim in the turquoise pools or walk along the forest trails. We return to the city by late afternoon.
